Just imagine: My buddy is looking forward to his weekend off like a snow king. Finally chilling out, working in the garden, meeting up with friends and simply letting your mind wander. The anticipation grows the closer the weekend gets. But when he comes home on Friday evening, his wife is waiting for him with the sentence: “Honey, I’ve discovered a mega conservatory! Shall we watch it tomorrow?”. “Um, sure, but where?” he asks hopefully. “In Pusemuckel,” she replies.
Pusemuckel? 150 km away? That’s it for free time! Determined to save his weekend peace, he comes up with a plan. He researches counterarguments on the Internet, ready for the battle of words. But then he discovers something interesting: There is a branch nearby without a showroom, but it uses augmented reality (AR) to bring the conservatories to life.
A dream conservatory with high-tech
Augmented reality – a mixture of reality and the virtual world. This allows you to view 3D models of products in your environment as if they were there. Full of hope, he and his wife jet into the city. Thanks to the impressive VR view and the samples in the store, they are quickly convinced of a model. The dealer even comes by in person and uses VR glasses to show them what the conservatory would look like on their house. They enthusiastically order directly.
Happy ending with lawn mowing
Technology can improve your life so easily and stress-free! No arguments, the lawn was mowed on Saturday anyway – all easy.
